Delete your account
You can request deletion of your Canvass account and the personal information associated with it.
Send a deletion request
Email hello@peoplebyplace.com from the address connected to your account with the subject “Delete my Canvass account.” We may ask you to verify your identity before completing the request.
What will be deleted
After verification, we will delete or de-identify your account profile, confirmed relationships, and associated activity from active systems, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or a documented organizational record that must be preserved. We will explain any applicable exception.
Timing and device contacts
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Backup copies may take longer to age out through normal retention cycles. You can immediately remove the app’s access to device contacts through iOS or Android Settings.
